Hidden Imagery in Well-Known Sports Logos

From the excellent Mental Floss Magazine blog comes a list of hidden images in sports logos. You’ll certainly recognize these logos, but you’ll never look at them the same way again.

Atlanta Falcons

The falcon’s wing and out-stretched claws make the shape of an “F” for Falcons.

Milwaukee Brewers (old logo)

The “M” & “B” come together to form a catcher’s mitt, complete with baseball in the center.

Houston Rockets

The “R” in the hoop is a rocket taking off. There’s also a hidden “H” formed by the hoop and “R.”

Minnesota Twins

The “win” in Twins is optimistically underlined.

Hartford Whalers

The negative space between the “W” and the whale tail create an “H,” for Hartford.
